Artist Statement
"I work primarily in oils and my subjects range from landscapes, figurative and still life, landscapes being my favorite. When people view my artwork I want them to see more than the obvious that is in front of them. There is a story there – I just hope that they can see it.
Media, composition and painting style all set the scene for me to try to translate a moment to the viewer. I want to experience the entire spectrum and freedom of creating art no matter where that may take me.
My mantra? Never stop creating, paint everything and as often as possible. Do this and you will continue to grow as an artist."
